Get started with Yoshuko

Yoshuko is a course platform for people who teach: independent creators who sell courses, and schools, districts and colleges that run them for their own students. An AI layer marks written work against your own rubric, flags copied or AI-written answers, and shows you where learners drop off. You keep every judgement call.

If you are taking a course rather than building one, you are in the wrong section — go to Learners.

The path, in order

Each step takes a few minutes. Do them in this order and you will finish with a published course and a working API key.

  1. Is Yoshuko right for me? — read the comparison and the prices before you commit, and find out whether you need an invitation.
  2. Create your account — sign up, confirm your mobile number and confirm your email with a six-digit code.
  3. Set up your organisation — name your organisation, prove a real person is behind it, and work through the five-step setup guide.
  4. Build your first course — a title, a unit, a lesson, and publish it so learners can enrol.
  5. Get an API key — optional; lets an AI agent or a script manage your courses without your password.
  6. Make your first API call — check the key works and read your courses back.
