Cookies and privacy¶
You decide which optional cookies Yoshuko may use, and you can change that at any time. This page also points you to the documents that explain what happens to your data. Anyone can do this, with or without an account.
This page is a guide, not the policy
The summaries below help you find your way. The documents at /legal/ are what actually applies — read them for the full wording.
Make your choice the first time you visit¶
The first time you visit, a banner at the bottom of the page says We use cookies to keep you logged in and improve your experience. It has two buttons:
- Accept all — allow every kind of cookie.
- Necessary only — allow only what the site cannot work without.
Press either one. The banner goes away and your choice is remembered in this browser, so you are not asked again on the next page. The banner's Privacy Policy link opens the full policy.
Change which cookies are allowed¶
- Open Cookie Settings.
-
Under 1. Your Current Choice, switch each kind of cookie on or off:
Kind What it's for Strictly necessary Always on. The site can't keep you signed in or protect your forms without them. Functional Remembers preferences such as timezone and currency. Analytics Helps us understand how the site is used. Marketing Measures campaigns and tailors what we show you. -
Press Save preferences. You see Preferences saved. next to the buttons.
Two shortcuts sit beside Save preferences:
- Reject optional switches off functional, analytics and marketing in one press. Strictly necessary cookies stay on.
- Allow all switches everything on.
Your choice applies to the browser you made it in. On another device or browser, choose again. The rest of the Cookie Settings page explains what these technologies are, which third parties set cookies, and how to control them in your browser.
Read what Yoshuko does with your data¶
The Privacy Policy explains, in order: who is responsible for your data, what is collected and why, cookies, who it is shared with, automated processing and AI, how long it is kept, security, your rights, children, where data is processed, changes to the policy, and how to contact us or complain.
In short, as the policy puts it: Yoshuko collects what it needs to run the service, bill for it, keep it secure and support you. It does not sell your personal information, and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Your rights. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what is held about you, get a copy, correct it, delete it and more. The policy's Your rights section lists them, gives the address to write to, and says how quickly you'll get an answer.
You can do some of this yourself
You can download a copy of your data or delete your account from the learner app — see profile, email and your data.
The Privacy Policy shows, near the top, which version you are reading and which company it applies to.
Find out who else processes your data¶
The Subprocessors page lists the kinds of outside service providers Yoshuko uses — for example hosting, file storage, payments, email and SMS delivery, AI model providers, error monitoring, and domain and network security — what data each kind may process, and where.
The page lists categories. It explains how to ask for the current list that names each provider.
